Sunday Mind Dump

What a great weekend of ministry. I loved seeing so many of our people out at the Suicide Prevention Walk yesterday. What was even better was that most of our people spent time talking to people outside of our church. The were interacting with others and not in a Real Life Church huddle! That was cool!
So lets dump:
  • Radio ads start today. Never ran them on a non Christian station. It'll be cool to see what happens.
  • Direct Mailers go out Tuesday. We should start seeing something from those next weekend.
  • The pig roast is getting bigger and bigger. Wow. This thing is going to be big.
  • Nice day in church today. Today's message was one of the hardest I have given in a while. No matter how you slice it the stuff we talked about today needed to be talked about. The hard part is when you talk about what people should be doing as members of a church it's a touchy subject because even though its not intended at anyone personally people will get defensive about it.
  • The band is getting better all the time. Most people have no idea what they go through to make it look that easy.
  • Today was my first Sunday doing a lower carb diet.....you have no idea how hard is was to stay away from all the goodies.....Sundays are going to be tough.
  • Martha is doing a great job with the kids. That ministry is awesome.
I am out....it's been a long weekend. Gonna spend some time with April tonight.
