Sunday Mind Dump

Some Sundays are great and you feel like you are on top of the world. Some aren't. This was one of those Sundays that were very hard. First, I have been in a funk all weekend. I'm not sick, I have just been in a funk. We had half our people out today for a host of reasons and that just saps the energy out of the room. On top of that, John and Shelly just lost a big part of the family their dog Jakey. Some dogs are just a dog. Jakey was a part of the family to John and Shelly. Needless to say this morning was really hard on them. John battled through worship and then they they took off for the day. Pray that God would give them some comfort.

Ok, so lets dump:
  • The band sounded great today. They are getting really tight as a group.
  • Loved the new David Crowder tune.
  • We finished our Deal or No Deal series. It was probably the best series we have ever done.
  • Next week we are starting mythbusters. It's going to be good.
  • Some great things on the horizon. We are sitting down this week and putting the finishing touches on our Christmas play.
It's time to get back to football! Maybe a nap too but definately more football!
