This weekend we are going to talk about something that all of us have dealt with or will deal with at some point. We are going to talk about how do we worship when we are hurting. That's a different thing than worshiping when we just don't feel like it. That is a different topic altogether.
I am talking about how do we worship God when we have been abused, let down, and hurt by those who are supposed to love us? How can we worship God in the midst and the middle of our deepest pain? This weekend we'll begin to unwrap that package by looking at a story in the Bible. We are going to study the life of a man by the name of Job who had everything and lost it all, well all but one thing, a nagging wife. Yet in the middle of his pain Job worshiped God.
